ITIS 3110. IT Infrastructure II: Design and Practice. (3) Co-requisites: ITIS 3110L;Prerequisite: ITIS 2110/2110L or permission of the department. This course covers concepts for the design and implementation of robust IT infrastructures. Topics covered include system hardening, secured access, penetration testing, file storage services, as well as advanced topics in design and configuration of network based services. The course will have heavy hands-on laboratory emphasis grade includes the student’s performance in ITIS 3110L. (Fall, Spring)
ITIS 3110L. IT Infrastructure II: Design and Practice Lab. (0) (Pass/No Credit) Co-requisite: ITIS 3110. Guided laboratory exercises dealing with IT Infrastructure concepts and equipment. Performance in ITIS 3110L will be counted as portion of the ITIS 3110 grade. (Fall, Spring)
