SPED 8477. Teaching Preparation in Online Settings. (3)  Presents techniques and supervised practice in the supervision and instruction of adult learners in online learning environments in college or school system settings. Also provides applied practice in course construction and development in selected learning management systems. (Spring)

SPED 8676. Doctoral Seminal in Policy Analysis. (3) Advanced study of contemporary and historical issues in federal, state, and local educational policy, with a focus on policy related to high-achieving and academically gifted children. Also prepares students to engage in advocacy efforts and develop effective policy recommendations to meet the needs of children identified as academically or intellectually gifted. (Spring)
