ENGL 4400. English Composition Practicum Theory & Practice of Tutoring Writing. (1-3) Prerequisites: permission of the instructor. Through supervised tutorial experience and seminars, this course introduces the student to current developments concerning composition and to a variety of methods for teaching English composition. This course is highly recommended for those planning to teach or those currently engaged in teaching. With permission of the English Department may be repeated once for credit. (Fall)
